Best for color-coordinated parties or school events. This bulk option includes 100 cups and 100 spoon straws in multiple colors, with a 4 oz capacity and 7.8-inch straw length. Plastic construction is lighter and more re-usable than paper alternatives.
Who it’s for: organizers seeking vibrant, mixed-color servings in a cost-per-piece package. Why selected: high quantity with color variety supports themed setup. Buying Guide
What to consider when choosing Hawaiian shaved ice cups
- Material and durability: Waxed paper cups are budget-friendly but may moisture-soften with heavy syrups; plastic options tend to be sturdier and reusable with proper washing.
- Capacity: Common sizes range from 4 oz to 8 oz. Choose based on preferred portion size and the age of guests (kids typically prefer smaller cups).
- Design and color: Festive colors and tropical designs enhance presentation; consider color coordination with your event theme.
- Lids and stacking: Lids help prevent spills during transport and storage; stacking capability saves freezer and cabinet space.
- Sporks and straws: Cups with integrated spoons simplify serving; ensure straw length matches cup height for easy eating and drinking.
- Bulk options: For large events, bulk sets reduce per-unit cost and simplify inventory management; confirm that the quantity aligns with the event size.
- Reuse and cleanup: Reusable plastic cups save money over time but require washing; disposable cups offer quick cleanup, especially for one-day events.
- Compatibility: If you own specific shaved ice machines, check size compatibility with cup rims and straw openings to avoid fitting issues.
Which style to choose by scenario
- Casual backyard party: Choose affordable waxed paper cups with matching straws for simple setup and quick cleanup.
- School or community event: Bulk color options help with theme coordination and reduce ordering frequency.
- Kids’ birthday party: Flower or hibiscus designs add a playful touch and enhance table decor.
- Medium luau or summer fair: Disposable paper cups with vibrant neon straws provide bold visual appeal and easy handling.
- Home use with small freezer space: Molds or reusable plastic cups help minimize waste and consolidate ice preparation with your shaved ice machine.
